Thomspon SMG is an US made submachine gun invented by John T. Thomspon in 1919, that became infamous during Prohibition era (1920 – 1933), which was commonly seen from media because of using by both police and Mafia / gangster at that time. Thompson was also known informally as: the “Tommy Gun”, “Chicago Typewriter”, “Chicago Piano” or “Chicago Violin”, which the Thompson can put in a viloin case after remove the handguard and rear stock. Thomspon was the first weapon to be labeled and marketed as “submachine gun”.
